Vienna, Austria. Fenster Café first opened its little window in May 2017, when founder Oleksandr Iamkovyi served the very first cup of coffee on May 13th. What started as a passion project in a nine-square-meter space quickly became a global name. And right from the beginning, one creation stole the spotlight — the now iconic Fensterccino, coffee served in a handmade chocolate-lined waffle cone, still crafted in-house to this day.
Eight years later, Fenster Café has grown into an award-winning brand that prepares over 100,000 cups of coffee every year and has been recognized multiple times among the best coffee shops in the world.
Quality Without Compromise
Excellence is built into everything we do. Our cafés are equipped with world-class machines from Eversys and Sanremo, precision grinders from Mahlkönig, and cutting-edge filter brewers like Hipster. At the heart of our roasting operation sits the legendary American Loring S15 roaster, delivering unmatched consistency and clarity of flavor. From whole beans to portion packs and drip bags, our packaging line ensures every coffee leaves us as fresh as possible.
We source only from the world’s finest farms — Brazil, Kenya, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ethiopia, and beyond — and treat every origin with the respect it deserves.
Saudi Arabia: Taking Vienna’s Coffee Culture Global
But Fenster is no longer just Vienna. Today, you’ll find our cafés thriving in Riyadh and Dammam, with Jeddah coming soon.
Saudi guests have embraced Vienna’s coffee tradition with incredible enthusiasm. The Fensterccino has become a sensation, while everything from classic espresso drinks to our signature creations has found loyal fans. Business is booming, and our partnerships here go beyond commerce — it’s about blending European coffee heritage with the vibrancy and hospitality of the modern Arab world.
Next Stop: The United States
Following our success in Vienna and Saudi Arabia, Fenster Café is preparing for its next chapter — entering the U.S. market. It’s the natural step for a brand that began at a tiny window in Vienna and has since grown into a symbol of playful innovation and uncompromising quality in coffee culture worldwide.
